Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Technology students teamed up and were provided with a real-world business problem to solve, drawing upon the skills and knowledge, gained throughout their program, in order to produce a solution.
This year, there were a total of 17 Capstone projects in the mechanical cluster (Mechanical, Electromechanical, and Design & Drafting programs) and 13 Capstones in the electrical cluster (Computer and Electronics programs).
Students presented their projects to the public in the first hour of the event where a panel of three industry professionals were touring the projects. The judges were truly impressed with the student’s professionalism, knowledge, skills and the quality of work of their Capstones.
Prizes were awarded to the students in a special ceremony at the end of the event.
