On December 6, the School of Applied Computing hosted its annual capstone showcase at Sheridan’s Trafalgar Campus Learning Commons, where students from the Software Development and Network Engineering (SDNE) and Mobile Computing courses presented their capstone design projects to a panel of judges.
“It was another impressive year as students went beyond to self-learn and incorporate incredible technology using material covered in their courses and producing another fantastic set of products,” says Simon Hood, SDNE program coordinator from the Faculty of Applied Science and Technology. “All capstones are geared to be real-world solutions to existing problems, and students are also encouraged to explore future entrepreneurial ventures after graduation.”
