Brampton Brick is North America’s largest brick manufacturing facility under one roof. The project goal was to learn different monitoring techniques used by Brampton Brick.

The primary monitoring activity learned at Brampton Brick was air monitoring. Air monitoring is done at Brampton Brick’s quarry to make sure pollution levels are to the standards. Water monitoring was also done. Water properties from the quarry are measured and approved before it can be released back into the environment.
In this project sampling work was done at the Brampton Brick quarry. Air and water samples were taken at different spots at the quarry. Water samples were taken from the drainage pond for the quarry. The waters pH and turbidity were tested on site to check is the water it can be released into the environment.
